Compounded Perseverance –

In 2016 I read a book by Darren Hardy called The Compound Effect.  Essentially it encourages us to establish good habits and take specific actions each day to effectively move us toward the life that we were intended to live, with purpose.  It was probably one of the books that I read whose ideas continue to float to the front of my brain each morning when I plan my day.  What can I do that will make tomorrow easier or move me toward a goal?  What is the next best action? What am I doing that is a waste of time that I should eliminate?

Perseverance

NOUN

  • steadfastness in doing something despite difficulty or delay in achieving success:

“his perseverance with the technique illustrates his single-mindedness” ·

Compounded Perseverance is then… the action of continuing to establish and build habit upon habit even though there is difficulty or delay in achieving the desired outcome or success.
